Brookfield Asset Management, in partnership with Nvidia and the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), has unveiled a $100 billion global artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure initiative. The Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund (BAIIF) aims to build and acquire assets critical to the AI value chain, targeting $10 billion in equity commitments from institutional partners.

Initial commitments of $5 billion have been secured, with significant contributions from Brookfield, Nvidia, and KIA. The fund addresses surging demand for AI-driven infrastructure across healthcare, finance, and telecommunications, focusing on compute and energy solutions.

Brookfield's trillion-dollar asset management expertise, combined with Nvidia's dominance in AI chips and KIA's sovereign wealth backing, positions the fund to capitalize on the sector's explosive growth.
